Parents are always talking to their children, tryingto understand them, but at the same time, they are setting boundaries or "life rules". They try to control all the problems of teenagers and this can make them feel sick and down.
For a good relationship, parents should talk to them about serious problems, and let them solve their own problems, as did parents when they were young.
Parents always forget that, but they were teenagers too, and they have to understand their children, and give them a bit of freedom.

my short story
One day of last summer I was swimming at the beach, my friends and I started to swim beyond the safety limits of the beach.
we spend a long time along beyond the limits swimming and joking. Later, we started to talk about sharks and sea monsters.
Finally, when we were coming back to the shore, a friend said he had touched something like a big fish.
We swam as fast as we could. That was a great day.

Teenagers should always tell their parents the truth.
If parents trust and listen to their children, they will tell them the truth.
On the one hand, there are very problematic teenagers and then their parents don´t trust them.
On the other hand, there are responsible teenagers who tell everything to their parents, so they trust them.

SHOULD TEENAGERS ALWAYS TELL THEIR PARENTS THE TRUTH??
I think teenagers should talk more to their parents, but parents should trust and listen to teenagers.
On the one hand, we always need their permission to go out, to go shopping, to do some things... but parents sometimes don't let us do certain things, so we don't tell them all the truth, and we do things that parents would never want us to do.
On the other hand, if parents are understanding, we should tell everything to them because surely they could understand and trust us.

buff... it is hard to say I don't know..
In my opinion a lot of children have problems to tell the truth to their parents bacause they don't get on well with them or it is just hard for them. Moreover, if they have done something bad, they know they may be punished.
On the other hand, perhaps we have to tell the truth because our parents take care of us, they love us and they want the best for us too .
